Are there any biology majors or natural science majors who have access to some phytoplanktons in the lab or from a pond somewhere? Here's my semi-emergency situation! My clown fish finally laid fertilized eggs yesterday (Monday) so I need to prepare live food for the fish fry (babies) or they will all die!
I need rotifer 로티펴 (phytoplankton) cultures to grow them to feed to the babies when they're born. It needs to be small enough for the baby fish to eat (50-1000 µm). And the babies won't eat dead fish food like the adults.
I imagine that most of you will have no or little experience with breeding salt water fish but I thought I would post on here because you may know of someone who does.
Any help would be appreciated!
Here's a link for what the rotifer might look like:
