***How to check your participation checks each day***

Checking participation is an honor system!

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a great semester. Just as a reminder of how the participation scores will be collected at the end of the semester.

Each day, each student is eligible for one participation point if you volunteer for the following:

• To read in class
• To come up to the board to explain something
• Speaking up and sharing your thoughts and ideas
• Answering any questions asked in class

The one point does NOT include:

• Doing pair or group work as this is the minimum requirement and expectation in the class.

Bonus Points: You can earn an extra point, in addition to the dailly one point participation point when you answer the bonus point question in class or when you research and share the answer in class.

At the end of every class, it is the responsibility of the student to record their participation scoress on the attedance sheet. If for some reason you forget to check the participation point on the day, you CANNOT go back later to record your participatio points.
