  1. Do you believe in quantam physics?
In one experiment, People devided rice into 2 rice boxes. And they wrote good words on one box and bad words on the other box. Would there be any difference over time? Surprisingly, as times goes, there definitely is a difference. On one box on which good words are written, rice was almost the same as the past. But on the other box on which bad words are written, rice became rotten very badly.
It shows not only living things but also non-living things can be affected by language. They had responded to the languages no matter what languages they are. I learned that every positive or negative word has energy in it. even though we can not see the energy in reality.

    1. I also have heared similar story before which is about a lettuce. When a exhilaring song was sung to a lettuce, it became fresher rather than when it was left without song. I have been thought about it and concluded by myself it's because of some kind of stimulus. A song, a sort of sound, has a sound energy and it can impulse the plant in some way.
Although I don't have exact knowledge about it, I guess lettuce or rice can be affected by unseen quantum elements as if we,people are affected by unperceived quantum energy. As if we are affected by nano-particle dusts or japan's radioactivity.
Have you guys heared this kind of magical story?

    2. Like other hypothesis like the study of gie(氣, energy). I think quantum physics is also a theory of an unknown causes. I believe that scientific fact is the gathering of an infinite successive event and it can be proved both way (theory and event). In this case, I really see that happening but, I didn't know what's exactly in that matter. In other words, I mean that particular events are happend in the specific circumstances but it is not necessarily the cause of whole events.

    3. When I was in elementary school, one of my friend's vacation science homework was 'Good words and bad words for flowers'. For two flower vases, she talked bad words and good words at each vase and observed how those flowers react. Good one became strong, healthy and fresh, In other hand, bad one were all dead. It was interesting and I learned saying good thing is really important. Still I wonder what makes differences and how they affect to non-living things..

    4. There are lots of things that we can't explain in our words or scientific knowledge. We cannot see the flow of energy but definitely we are all affected by it. As people said that obviously there is a positive energy. People had experienced and had been affected positive energy including words and behavior. There is always reason that people say think positive and give other people good energy. If affects people even there is a no big difference or change but I believe there is a small change or little difference after you try to be a positive and get good energy.

    5. I learn quantam physics for my major. From this subject, I learn things that can't be observed but we just say it had happened that way. We predict things using the basic physic theories and try to match the results what we have predicted. We can't really find out the real thing that have happened, but using prediction and understanding the process that might happen doesn't harm anything. I think that is what quantam phyisics is. Therefore the part that you said about negative words made the rice rotten, we can't really know how it got rotten and the reason can't be observed from us. However, we just predict that some reasons might be realized in there so we just undersand it. That is just what quantam physics is.

  2. How often do you awaken at dawn?
I have awaken a lot of time when I was a freshman and that was the period I was in the face of adversity. After becoming a university student, I could have comparatively free time and I spent my days hanging with friends or playing computer games or spending time doing nothing. As a result, most time at midnight, I was awaken just lying on bed trying to sleep. And it made me deperresed in several ways.
First, I could'nt go to sleep easily as I didn't spent my daytime faithfully, and became tired at the next day. This chain has been repeted. I became a zombie and became neglectful about school activities and frinedship.
Secondly, I became so sensitive to my feeling so I tend to be in a gloomy mood and look back at me with a bad perception.
Thirdly, especially between from 10.pm to 12p.m is the skin-revival time, it disturbes my skin to be in fine state.
Overall, I realized it's essential to go to sleep before 11p.m. And I'm trying to keep that time limit strictly.
Is there anyone who has experienced similar adversity or have a good solution for this problem??

    2. I have to disagree with your skin-revival time thing. I have been not sleeping all that long for a couple of weeks now, went to sleep at about 4 or 5 in the morning and woke up after 2-3 hours and have no such bad skin trouble. Yes I feel tired and all but really it's not about you need to sleep at certain time but just how deeply you get sleep.

    3. Once i heard that if you don't sleep when you are sleepy at night, you have to wait 1hour and 30minutes that is cycle of that you are sleepy. And like you said about your problem of sensitive feelings and depression, I had an experience of that. I had been through that. Here's my medicine. Sleep early. If you're trying to put your effort on getting a sleep early, surely it could be hard firstly but, you will find that you are getting better every single day. I think keeping the sleep time is only important thing. And I'm really sure that if you work hard, you will get sleep.

    4. I have experienced the same adversity that you mentioned. Before I went to army I couldn't sleep before 4:00 am, and got up lately. Then I couldn't sleep early. I think the best solution is alcohol ㅎㅎ, but it's not good for health. To solve my problem, I took a part-time job that started morning. After part-time job I went to fittness-club to excercise. I tried to make my body exhausted. As a result, I could have regular life and feel comfortable when I do some activities.

    5. I think that the sleeping-span could be fixed by several days. When I was in the army, I woke up at 5:00 am in the morning and went to bed at 9:00 pm. I continued this life style almost along two years. Finally, when I was discharged from the army, I inspiringly decided not to have my previous life style that I had before and keep my ARMY TIME. At first, (maybe three or four days?) I succeeded. But I realized that it was my unattainable ideal dream. You know what? During my own vacation between right after the army and going back to school, I played at night and slept during day ours.. So I am sure that you could fix your sleeping problem easily of course.

    6. Everything you suffered because of the stress. Most of people ,who have insomnia, they go to bed and open their eyes and think about what they did today. This kind of habit could make people insomnia much worse. I had suffered insomnia for several weeks and it was so painful that I don't want to feel again. Anyway I overcame such a terrible insomnia to make myself exhausted. Work-out regularly ,hardly and try to be positive. Before you go to the bed, think everything you can and then go to the bed. Do not waste your time to think on the bed. Just sleep. Positive mind makes brighter future.

    7. I think the most important thing to deal with insomnia is not stressed by yourself. If you keep thinking like ‘I should sleep, I had a lot of things to do tomorrow!’ , it can make you away from sleep. So, what I want to say is that don’t get stressed from sleep before 11pm and how about make your body more tired? In my case, exercising makes me deep sleep and I can sleep earlier than other days.

    8. I can see you had hard time dealing with human relationship, school activities and your own mood etc. I agree with your opinion that sleeping is really important in our lives. We humans need time to recharge energy and take some rest for tomorrow. We shouldn't sleep too much, but adequate amount of sleep is not only helpful but also essential in our lives . To maintain reguarity I think sleeping at simillar time is the best option we can choose. Because I believe that sleeping is another second nature . Hopefully you sleep before 11 p.m. and that will make not only your mental health but also physical health good.

    9. I have same experience too. I think you should try to go bed at same time everyday to fit your body for sleeping. Also I recommend you do nothing before you go to bed to relax your body that you use for hanging out and playing all day. I heard that drinking hot milk and taking a shower is good for deep sleep. I hope you solve your sleeping problem!

    10. I have also encountered the problem that you mentioned. This year during winter vacation, I always slept late doing nothing or not productive things. I really wanted to solve this problem. So this semester I decided to take four 9A.M. class with five school days. First it was really hard for me to adapt to new schedule. During the first two weeks, no matter how I try to sleep, I couldn’t sleep early. But after few weeks, I started to sleep early because I know that when I don’t sleep, I can’t stand next day. These days even it’s before midnight I feel sleepy. when I tell to my friends about what I did to overcome this situation, they tell me it’s not a good idea. But for me it was good solution and also I think it can be good solution to someone.

  3. The appearance is important in our lives. Oh, I mean not a fabulous and great look but a clean and neat or a look that catches our sight. And i'm sure that what clothes we wear is one of the factors of making good appearance. And I'm very certain that in terms of wearing clothes, wearing a brand-name clothes and thinking that is good or not is debatable. Are the brand-name clothes more looking good than other cheeper no-name products? or or Do you think not dressed a brand-name clothes make your value low? Surely the brand-name clothes are good with the wearability. They are well-made produts. But It's expensive and they make you same. it could make you a clone. I see that happen frequantly in the university. For example, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister and Dickies. In my case, I prefer band-clothes. it has good wearability and i think it's greatly sewn. Maybe i will use it a long time. Of coures it's expensive than no-name clothes. So, i'm going to shopping when there is on sale. And if possible, I pick the less decorated one. I mean the one has small logo, not the one has big print logo.

    1. I agree that good appeareance with nice clothes could make a good impression. But Brand-named clothe does not always give a good looking and it is not using a good fabric. They might be price clothe because of the good fabric, but I think mostly related to their brand. There has some clothe company that offer a good quality clothe such as Uiqlo, Giordano, H&M. We call them SPA Brand(Specialty store retailer of Private label Apparel Brand). Therefore I like to buy clothe at there where I can dress up myself with reasonable price.

    2. You wrote brand named clothes make you shame but I do not agree. I think the other way. I used to buy clothes at gangnam underground shopping area. And oh my god, it was literally everywhere. No matter what I buy there, I could see more than three people wearing same thing. But other than that, I agree with you. You can find unknown brand to keep your individuality. That what I do.

    3. I agree with you that clean and neat makes us caths our sight. I care brands because the qualitiy of the clothing, design or color not because their brand name value me high. And I don't like to wear clotihing or fashion items that is on trends as I don't want to become another clone on the street. Because when something is on trends we can always see such thing on the street.

    4. I think problem provokes because of those who buy unaffordable clothings.
Korea is a famouse luxury holic nation. Some of them overstrain to buy unaffordable clothings, cars, phones, bags.. There has been an issue about high school students who buy "North face jacket" which is over 300,000won.
If that purchase is done by students, their parents must undergo gird up thier loins. And if it's done by adults, they should do installment purchase procrastinating other goals.
It does't matter buying luxury clothings or bonded clothings. But for one's mental health, we have to know how to deal with satisfaction regardless how much they have.

    5. I agree that good appearance gives good impression. Also I think brand clothes deserve their price. They use better materials and technics such as fabrics, stiches, and designs. When it comes to shoes, I prefer brand name product. They are more comfortable because of good materials like leather, and their design makes our feet less tired. Furthermore we can wear those shoes longer time than cheap one.

    6. The difference of a price according to a size of printed logo on shirts is ridiculous, Isnt' it? The one with a big printing logo doesn't mean its quatlity is superior to others. But people prefer logos anyway. That's the thing. In my case, I'm not obsessed with logos on clothes. Unless somebody buys it for me, I'll not buy them in my budget. Because they're too expensive. I don't think it's rational purchase. What is important is not what we wear clothes but how we wear them. We can make normal clothes look fabulous . Depending on name-brand is not smart way of choosing clothes unless you're super rich.

Do you like superheroes? Today, it’s clear that the current trend in the movie industry is superhero movie. Superman, batman, spider man, the avengers, x-men and guardians of the galaxy. They are all popular characters and have a lot of fans.
Among them, one of my favorite characters is batman. The latest batman movie is ‘The dark knight rises’ released in 2012. In that movie, batman fought with notorious villain ‘Bane’. This bad guy captured batman and imprisoned him in basement prison which looked like a deep stone built well. At that time, he was attacked by Bane and his backbone was damaged so that he can’t even stand straight. However, he constantly tried to escape from there and he finally succeeded climbing the wall without a rope.
This scene reminded me of ‘refuse to give up’. Although you were in bad situation, the important thing is to have a strong faith and keep trying to handle that. Superheroes give us joyful time also they give us tips for dealing with obstacles.

That kind of movies are just made for fun. So, I don't like superheroes movies.

    2. I am always dreaming about being a super hero. Especially being Iron-man is the most frequent delusion that I have in my mind. For my example, when I wake up late in the morning, I really want to wear the suit that Iron-man wears and jump into the ground from 13 floors of my room so that I could immediately fly to my work. Also I agree with your thought that those kinds of movies truly give us moral lesson of our lives. We first fascinated by spectacular scene from movies and laugh a lot, but after the running time of movies, we could graft the movies and life together. “What if I have a bad luck and devastated… That is okay, I could solve the problem as SUPER HERO.”

    3. These days, there are lots of movies related with super hero and I love to see that kind of movie. Watching super hero movie can get rid of stress and sometimes gives us moral. There is sometimes a hidden meaning such as criticizing society or world or politics. However a movie is just a movie so do not think seriously or do not admire , do not try to be like super hero. Most children after watching super hero movie they acting like super hero. Well... just for playing or fun, it would be okay but if they remain that kind of behavior until after twenties , they would be in trouble. Just watch it without any thoughts. That is the best way to enjoy the super hero movies

It can be enjoyed to everyone with happiness and that time must be the nice memory.

However, that kind of movie is good for fun. I like it.

  6. Just seventy years had passed since we had accomplished liberation and over one hundred million people had been sacrificed at World War Two, the average life span was approximately between thirties to forties. However nowadays thankfully to the improvement of nutrition and medical care, life span had ranked the most highest than any other time human existed. However in Africa, life span is under than forty five or some areas are under than forty because of malnutrition and diseases. North Korea citizens live with hunger meeting a bad leader. Some southern Asian countries also suffer with malnutrition. If we are born in this superb circumstance chosen randomly, the circumstance of probability would have been as winning the lottery concluding the era. When I was young, living in the US, many donating advertisements was in the TV helping me to thank again of my fortune. However, losing the balance of the economy in the market may be threatening the economy. I think this is a great thing to do, sharing my wonderful life.

She was 5 years-old girl who suffer from hungry and disease. I donated 50$ for 15months. 50$ isn't important money to me. If I don't drink alcohol 1time I could save 50$. 7. Opposing to abolishing punishment of adultery
Have you ever thought about abolishing Adultery? Frankly, when I first heard the news that it was already abolished, I could not believe it. The reason why it was abolished is that people’s mindset about marriage and sex has changed. Moreover, because the widespread awareness of the importance of autonomy over sex,
it is believed that it is improper to impose punishment on adultery. Furthermore, even though it may be considered an immoral behavior, because it is people’s privacy and it does not cause much damage to the society, the overall trend is to abolish the punishment of adultery.
Despite the reasons, I disagree with abolishing the punishment of adultery. The reason is that adultery destroys person’s and moreover, the society’s morality. Adultery not only destroys the character and life of the doer, but also ruins the doer’s love and happiness. Adultery is not just a simple moral crime, but is a crime that should be treated with law because it affects families and societies. South Korea has many environmental features that would result in increased adultery.
In United States and many other advanced countries, bars, pubs and entertainment places are properly isolated from residential areas and are well controlled under the law. Compared to other countries, people in Korea, even teenagers can easily access adult entertainments because they are not properly controlled by the law. The most important reason why I disagree with abolishing punishment of adultery is that most people in Korea also don’t want to do so. According to survey that was taken in 2014, 60.4% of the people agreed that adultery should be punished. Moreover, survey which was taken in 2015 also showed 69.3% of the people believe that adultery should be punished. Despite what people think, punishment for adultery was abolished. Such action is disregarding people’s ethics and morals and opinions. Eventhough the younger generations are open towards sex, it has not been that way for long; therefore, I believe that a premature decision was made about abolishing punishment of adultery.

    1. I agree with your thought about the Korean mindset that has been changed so far than past. The numbers of people now don’t want to get married and want to have a fascinating single life so called “drinking, singing and dancing”. I really don’t care about those streams and I also want to have my own private life sometimes. But in terms of marriages, it is very clear that the faith in each other is very important and it is the key of keeping the marriages safe. However it is true that this current stream could break the faith easily. Our surrounding condition is unfiltered as you mentioned. We could see many enjoyable places all over in Seoul. Humans are weak and that is why the law exists. Laws can hold us steady and we can always aware of the responsibility by thinking of punishment that gives us fears. So I really agree with your writing.

    2. After abolishing punishment of adultery, people said that it is definitely destroying of monogamy and the punishment of adultery maintain sexual morality. However some people said they have their own freedom, they do not want to be infringed. I do know people have their personal freedom but after marriage, you still have freedom but behind the freedom there is always a responsibility. Adultery is an act that damages the marriage-based social system and has a destructive impact on families. I am concerned that how this changed law reflect our society. No one wants to see that people are in panic and of course I do

    3. In my opinion, there are some etiquettes which is not compulsive but we'd better keep in road. For example, when we watch a child who doesn't use honorific toward elderly, we become uncomfortable as if something is wrong but can't punish. Or as a more smiliar example, interfering one side lover's contacting girl list can make him irritated and upset.
Of course making adultery illegal to bind one's lover only to me as a law is convinced. But I think it's a matter of etiquette. Making as a law seems so childish. We'd better believe our partner more. Life is too short to love!

    4. I agree with your opinion. When I heard that adultery is abolished, I just cannot believe that. As your writing says, other countries which abolish the adultery have good system not as a law to control people. However, our nation does not have that system as other countries do. People are easily exposed to the red light district, so I think it is not opportune to abolish the adultery until we have good systems or educations about family.

  8. The Alert of Chinaflation – 정준호(J.H) 201031528

It is said that there is always the way out of such types of inflations as “currency inflation”, “demand-pull inflation” and “cost-push inflation” to stabilize the economy. For example, adjusting rediscount rate, cash reserve ratio, and tax fares would be the solution for both currency and demandpull inflation. Also, by decreasing the price of raw materials or supporting local enterprises with government funding, cost-push inflation will be fairly backed up. But then, the Chinaflation appears.
The word “Chinaflation” is the combination of “China” and “inflation”. It means that China is forming some new kind of inflation to our world. I heard that NIKE, ADIDAS, UNIQLO, MUJI, DIKIES, PHILLIPS, NEC, and many more manufacturing businesses have retreated from the Chinese mainland, while Chinese low wage level was getting improved. The price of Chinese products and materials are not inexpensive anymore, either. ‘Price Stability’ of our entire economy is getting collapsed because of those transitions in China.
Speaking of Korea, facing with fast glowing China so far, we are importing not only raw materials but also final goods from our neighbor, China. It could be a hidden knife. Although China’s CPI (consumer price index) is currently in a low tone as much as we could ignore easily. But we should also remember that we are already in the midst of Chinaflation. It is proved by selling massive acre of Jeju to Chinese real-estate investors and the value of our Island is soaring. The huge number of Chinese Youkes, who splurge on Korean cosmetic products, is also changing our economic market values. It seems to be a double-edged sword that we should be prepared for Chinese counterattack.

So any other country can't ignore China. Korea also made a FTA agreement with China. It will be more difficult to defense of China attack. Ofcourse, Korea also earn profit through FTA, but I think we will lose more than get profit. For example, our agriculture industry would get more damage than other industy. Because we can't defense China's cheap and good agriculture products. Nowadays, China's technical skills are growing, then somedays our other industry would get damage. So we should prepare for Chinese attack

Seven people have been infected with the disease 3 days ago but now already 15 people have been infected. First case was announced on May 20, involving a 68-year-old man who had traveled to the Middle East. Subsequent infections were detected in the man's wife, his hospital roommate, his hospital roommate's daughter, and another healthcare worker. In addition, the problem is that a person who has been infected, flied to China through Hong Kong. He ignored quarantine restriction and then it is going to be a global problem and make a sharp tension between China and Korea. Our government and health ministry's belated response make people terrified and our country's status fell greatly. Now dozens of people who are infected are in quarantine but everyone is in fear. I wish there would be no more infected person but still hard to believe government's measures to stop spreading.

Also the symptoms of MERS are including high fever, cough and difficulty in breathing. But the difference between SARS and MERS is that MERS brings ‘Acute Renal Failure’ and ‘Pneumonia’ so that the lethality of MERS is above 40% as 4 times fatal than SARS. There is no actual curing method, so we should prevent the disease at the first place. We should avoid traveling around Middle East region and touching camels or goats because the theory that the causes for MERS due to Camel is now getting forces. Also it can’t be emphasized enough that the personal hygiene is very important than any other things.

Recent days we can't trust authority, news or anything in this countiry. I usually find news in english or google it. Even though there is MERS everywhere the government don't say anything about it but saying don't eat any camel food and wash yout hands. We have to do something on our own and survive.

It's far different than the SARS come. The government still don't have the proper controll tower, and neither have the manuel. What a incompetence. I think we should get some help from WHO. Because, We haven't seen MERS before. What can we do for now is that we take our masks on and wash our hands many times. I hope that we could pull through this situation.

    6. As for taking measurement to any kind of national disaster, the plane of it is really poor here in Korea. I can hardly believe Korea is one of OECD countries in the world. As time goes, I don't believe in government, because It seems they don't care much about citizen's health. Mers happening will calm down in near future. Yes, It will not be too serious , because people care much, and Korea has superior medical system. But what I'm afraid of is the way government act to disasters. They need to be honest, sincere in terms of caring their own people.

    7. Unfortunately, there is no cure of MERS virus. So if you get infected with MERS virus, you have to overcome the virus with your immune system. That is a very unpleasent story, and I heard that the death rate of MERS is approximately 40 percent. I also hope the cure for MERS will be researched soon. However, like the Spain Influenza, there is some diseases that can't be cured. It is a sad story that life is so fragile and short, and I think that in that field, it can't be controled by human.

  10. Korea's Department of Justice becomes generous when it comes to sexual molestation and harrasment. Some expert say stronger punishment does not make criminals to stop their action. It may result opposite effect. Like japan, many of victims are reported missing. Because they are afraid of getting punishment so their crimes escalate into murder. But I think Korea is little early to say that logic. Because Department of justice does not decide the sentence good enough. Sex criminals think it's okay to commit crime because they are not getting arrested. And if they caught, they were just got bad luck and getting very little punishment. Many times they do not even serve the jail time. If you say you were so drunk and do not remember anything, they reduce penalty even though they deserve more. I think at this point, reasonable ruling is crucial for realize a just society. What do you think about Korea's sex criminal law and penalty?

    1. I agree with you. Korea's sex criminal penalty is way too light when they are drunk and says they don't remember anything. Like other criminals victims would suffre lifelong pain within themselves. As sex criminals known that they would not be punished hard if they say they were drunk, in news I usually hear they saying can't remember anything. It's time to change our perspective and make them feel that they have done something very wrong

    2. I strongly agree with you. Our laws about sex crime is ridiculous. Sex crime is as cruel as murder because sex crime also kills victims' mind. That situations can be left traumatically and more than half of them commit suicide because they cannot bear the affront. As your writing says, being drunk should not be related to crime, which means they cannot have excuse because of that. Whenever I hear news about sex crime, I always get mad and am disappointed with the way law treats criminals.

  11. Have you ever heard of the term "Sajupalja"? It is arranges of person's birth date - the year, month, day- and time. It's Saju as it compares person as a house and the birth date is the four column of the house. And it's Palja because it uses eight words. The Sajupalja usually used for telling someone's future. Do you think it is possible to tell someone's future using Saju? I disagree because if there are people who has same birthdate would they live the same life? No, person’s life is not based on their birth but on the environment that person lives. And Saju is the matter of probability. As most of Koreans experience similar life patterns going high school or university having difficulties in life. The people who reads Saju usually says ambiguously. For example they would say “You have some difficulties these days like financial problem”. Financial problem is kind of problem that most people experiencing. They are just saying something common which can make you believe them. So the Sajupalja is just a superstition that uses person’s fear of un-coming future. Don’t waste your money to hear something that just using your fear.

She heard about name theory and half in doubt. But she didn't have no choice and went to see a expert. The expert said her name does not match with her somehow. Right after she changed her name she became healthy. If can't be coincidence. Don't you think?

I also haven't believed in it but as I failed in the goal which I put my every effort for more than 2 years. I thought about myself and environments for long time before I retry for that goal, but couldn't find that so I almost forgave. Accidently I faced Saju and there said I will be fail in every exam between 18 to 25. And that will be the hardest time in my life and effort will be useless how hard I do. And I'm the exact appropriate person to be 'the thing' which is the statue succeeded in the exam but should try after 25. Believe it or not, I'll be the thing and also super rich woman!

Actually I’ve never been Saju place yet. It’s kind of scared to see my life, at the same time I wonder what’s mine!

    4. I do not believe in Saju either. Actually, I believed at first, but after I read the book about psychology, I realized that Saju is one of the tricks which tap psychology. They tell us broad subject and narrow down the subject to private things. Even though this is a really simple trick, we are not aware of it. Lastly, when I was 20, they gave me wrong information about date......

    5. I tried not to believe the ‘Sajupalja’ but sometime I do believe. It is not making sense that the people who have same birth day have the same ‘Saju’. So people don’t like to listen it. But I think it is good to be trying it and sometime we could rely on it when the situation is so hard that I cannot stay with it. Because it is release your mind. For example, when some person got a stress because of the hard time, looking for the ‘Saju’. Then the ‘Saju’ said that you will be better after 2months later, so hold on it. If the person heard that he or she could be release it because the hard time will pass. So I think it is good to be try it and sometime rely on it like religion. But too much is as bad as too little, so listen it just for fun.

  12. Have you seen cleaning women in our university? I often see them cleaning toilet and emptying trashcan in the morning. As you know this kind of work is really hard and disgusting. But they seem to be treated unfairly these days. they receive low salary, can easily be fired, usually don’t receive employment welfare and their rooms that was assigned by university are very dirty. It’s full of dust and inventory. It looked a lot different with faculty’s. And also I found out that many people don’t like to see them working in daytime. I ,also, have an experience that I felt discomfort when a cleaning woman came into the man’s toilet. but I can say that this is wrong. unless our perspectives of them don’t change, their lives won’t. I feel bad whenever I see students spitting on the floor or using toilet dirtily. In USA cleaning women are treated equally with faculty. Not only universities treat them well but also most people respect their job. If we change our perspective on them and treat them as much as they work, we can make better world.

They each take care of one floor and always clean that floor stairs too. Doing all those work, I saw them just resting in the restroom. When I saw that, I realized that they don't have any appropriate place to rest and this is a big problem. They are also workers and they have the right to be respected. Therefore I agree with your opinion about this part.

    2. This is a very unpleasent, sad story. I think this is why so many people are trying to get high scholarships. I am so upset that too many people are being educated until universities. I heard that almost 70 percent of the people in Korea are recently graduating universities. This is a very dangerous event because I think the society needs people who can work for the 3D industry. I think this kind of society hasn't been developed in a short period. It has developed this way because the older generation hasn't been educated because of the Korean war, and many people god high payed, highly treated after being graduated of universities at that time. Also the demand of high scholarships was very high because Korea has promoted exporting high class industries such as cars, phones or semiconductors.

Cleaning the building is just one of them. We should all respect the diversity of works. We should all respect what they do. The treatment will be improved then.

  14. Parents are the most important existence to their kids, because family is a primary shelter where kids can be taken care of and the parents are in the center of family. However, as the world started to globalize, the education occupied a lot of parts in lives. Not only the kids who actually studies, but also the parents who support their child both got overwhelmed by excessive education fever. What is the problem this phenomenon leads to the whole family? I think since the kids are only emphasized by the significance of studying so as to have a better life, they will be lack of time to think of other dreams.
Being best in studying can be a one way of arriving at a happy life, but it’s just one of the small clouds in the unlimited expanse of the sky. The problem is that the kids are only emphasized by the importance of studying in a quest to success even though there are so many other ways to have their own new life. It doesn’t really matter however good you are at studying and become a lawyer or doctor if you have no interest in those fields, because that is not your real life. Instead, you are being just nothing more than a technician. That is, there has to be a lot of opportunities for kids to think about other dreams that are related to their real interests rather than be forced to only study. To make my meaning clear, I found this research stating that 58.3% of the Korean students said that the main reason of their stress was studying and almost every student went through mental problems like anxiety, ADHD, even thinking of some suicides. If the kids do things what they want to do, I can assure that these disasters will be reduced soon.
To solve this problem, I think parents need to encourage their kids with saying that pass from thought to action about the things you decided what is right, instead of just saying that you have to study hard to be a successful person. Also, parents need to listen to the children’s voice about what they really want to do before forcing them to study and kids need to keep their promises and try their best to reach to that goal. There is no such a good way as interactional communication.

    1. I agree with your opinion. I have written the similar subject as yours at last writing assignment. I have also said that it is important for parents to understand what their kids think about and have to accept them. If they don't do that their kids can't think by themselves and will just rely on what their parents say or do to them. This will go to the problem when they be grown ups. They might not have found what their real dream is and can't solve problems themselves because they have relied on their parents when they were young. Therefore I think it is right for parents to listen to their children's thought and feeling not only for their children's thinking but also for their future.

    2. I also agree with your opinion. This is not only problem of parents but also society. These days it’s really hard to get a job. and that’s why parents push and push their child. Maybe it's because they love their child but as a result students lost their dream. As a engineering student, I was shocked because lots of my friends with same major selected engineering because studying engineering is easier to get a job. They give up or even don’t think about their dreams because maybe just studying engineering would be the best answer for their lives. I wish our society’s atmosphere of study change so people can do what they want for they entire lives.

It was only with pure intention of kids just borrowing some stuff from their friends. What became serious problem nowadays is that people share files on commercial purposes illegally without even being aware of it. Downloading the newest movie, sharing the music, and copying the whole book are definitely the act of stealing. These products are all properties of the creators. So when you download or share them without the allowance, it definitely is the act of theft. Every creator is working hard to make their creations more creative and fun. However, the way going to school had many inappropriate things. In the alleys, there were many motels, bars, and places related to sexual things. After school, the kids have to go through these places to go home and even there are many kids that go home alone. There might be no problem during the day time but when the sun sets, those places start to open and that is the part that can be the problem. It is dangerous to kids who might go home alone in that time and it might be noisy who lives near that place. This is not right for young students in an educational way. They might be curious what those places are but it is not right to teach what those places are. Not only the school I went but also many other schools are like this situation. 1. The Korean governmet has promoted the 3S policy in the 1980s. It was Screen, Sports and Sex. At that time many people disagreed with promoting things that people would be negatively influenced. However, the economy bounced and lots of people got rich. Nowadays, Mr. Lee legalized gambling at 2008 and even we know smoking and drinking alcohol is dangerous and can cause cancer, the government is still selling them at a low price, because it is a very good thing in taxation. The US government gives lots of fines to people than Korea for taxation. If a policy or an event occurs, there is always the positive side effects and the negative side effects, but I don't think motels or bars would negatively effect an elementary school, because these places are mostly operated at night when classes are over, and Elementary students can't enter these places because the law is protecting these people. I would say the students would be influences because many student's parents would work in these facilities, but if we move the motels and bars, these students have to move the elementary school because their parents loses their jobs. I think life can't be always influenced in the right side, there is always sacrifises, and we have to think the negative side effects and the positive side effects, what is more better. In this case, I don't think the negative side effects is that high, and life is already doomed with the flow of capitalism, but without capital, we won't even survive in a short term in malnutrition and diseases.

Needless to say, pets are our best friends. Thus, many people have pets because they do not want to feel lonely. On the other hand, other people have them in order to protect their house. There might be also other reasons to take care of them. However, have you ever noticed that taking care of pets has positive psychological effects on terminally ill patients? This means having pet can be used as a prescription for patients who suffer incurable diseases.
Patients not only feel better mentally, but their physical conditions also improve a lot. This therapy has been used by Dr. Susan Peters, and she said, "The feeling of companionship and nurturing has a positive effect on the patient. The relationship that is developed between the patient and the animail helps to alleviate the loneliness and isolated feeling that many terminally ill patients experience." As time goes on, they feel better and respond better to their treatment. As a result, their physical conditions get better.
In conclusion, being with pets has good effects on terminally ill patients. Their mental and physical conditions improve greatly.Like this, pets give a lot of beneficial thing to human beings, so we should consider pets as a family member and treat them well.

  18. Is it okay to pay low an admission fee for our cultural properties?
When we want to see our cultural properties, we should pay an admission fee to see them. Most of their fees are expensive in other country, but ours are different. Our fee is very cheap. For example, entrance fee for Kyungbokgoong is only 3,000 won and free to under 24. And National Museum of Korea’s admission fee is free for all. It could be good thing that we can enjoy our cultural properties for free and very easily. But is it really good? I don’t think so. Because of the free fee, we barely felt that how important our cultural properties are. At the museum, the children are running around in there and touch it neglect. We pay the admission fee for our cultural properties and from that fee we feel how important it is. If the fee is expensive, we do more care about cultural properties when we watch them. Therefore, I think we should raise our admission fee more than know.

    1. In the law of damand and supply in Ecconomics, prices is always deveoped by the amount of demand and the amount of supply. If going to Kyungbokgoong is like 15,000 won for one time, many people won't go there because the satisfaction of going there won't equal the amount of money of doing something else. As I could say going to the theater would be much more satisfied than going to Kyungbokgoong. That's why the Korean government is trying to raise the amount of foreign visitors, because foreign visitors visit Kyungbokgoong and other cultural properties as a visitor and because they don't know Korea's culture. I also think raising the money of the admission fee woun't give a positive influence to our ecconomy, because if we raise the money of the admission fee, only foreigners would go to Kyungbokgoong and will give a negative image to them.

    2. It is true that what we pay for the cultural properties is way too cheap than any other countries. I agree with you about low admission fees for the cutural properties does take part of people treating them lowly. It should definitely be increased. What becomes an issue is how will you make people come with the increased fee. I think there should be countermeasure that can cover this problem.

    3. I also think that admission fee is low and maybe that makes cultural properties low-valued. But before raising admission fee, I want our nations to be more educated about cultural properties. Because we don’t know what it is, we don’t know how valuable it is and even don’t have interest in it. when I went to museum for study when I was high school student my friends didn’t have interest in it. They just sitted on a chair and wrote report by searching internet. when we are well educated about cultural properties, I think this problem will be solved.

Choices change my future, so making a good decision is important to make a good life plan. I think the key point of how to make a right choice is experience. Until now, I have made various choices. When I was a kid, I was going to be a mother because she was the best person that I had ever experienced. As I grew up, I started to develop an interest in Korean literature. In that time I wanted to be a writer. Experience changed my mind. My elementary school teacher found my talent for writing. I could not have found my talent if I didn’t experience. Knowledge also makes a broad perspective. At first I wrote only novels but as I started to learn plays, I got interested in it. That was how I made up my mind to become a play writer. My future goal has changed again. Many people say that everyone must have a life plan but I don’t agree. I can’t plan my future because I am not experienced enough. There are lots of things I have never met. I am too young to decide big life plans. There is a Korean proverb, ‘you can see as much as you know'. It’s not too late to determine after a lot of experience for better life plan. What's your life plan and how they've changed?

Thanks to my parents, I have had so much experience than peers. It has been helpful when deciding what I should do but has made me confused at the same time. For example, I thought I was good at A but which was not right. I will always appreciate what I have experienced despite the confusing situations because it is clear that those experience has made me who I am now.

However, potential discrimination is shown from their having no regard for insufficient facilities for the disabled and their being unaware of the differences between the non-disabled and the disabled.
